Lily R2 MX Keyboard Kit

Putting the stabilizers in took me a bit, but once the whole thing was together, the build quality felt really solid. The fact that it’s a kit means you get to learn how everything fits, which was honestly the fun part for me. Feels like a proper project that pays off.

The soldering went smoothly and the kit's PCB layout is remarkably clean, so even a first-timer like me ended up with a solid, thocky board. Took a lazy Sunday afternoon to finish, but the satisfaction of typing on something I built myself is unreal.

I’m usually too impatient for DIY projects, but the Lily R2 MX was actually a relaxing weekend build. Everything I needed was in the box, and the gasket mount gives it a soft, bouncy feel that makes typing a bit addictive.
